sooner
has anyone ever fished the river along the red hill valley through Hamilton or know if there is fish in there?
Dugger
there is an interesting study that is online thru www.hamilton.ca, a fisheries report, I did a lot of archaeological work there over the years and saw people fish and saw fish, suckers, chubs, rock bass etc but i see online other species mentioned. It is a very neat little ecosystem and a lot of work has been done to it.
Dugger
.... ah, based on this report, it appears to have a possible seasonal fishery for rainbows and chinooks in limited spots but is mostly composed of a variety of chubs, shiners, suckers, sticklebacks and such

steellee
Ya it does get a small run of stray salmon in the fall. Not really your best option in the area though.
