Tim Bromund
Dad and I fished the Club Tourney today, joined by Bob Collins and Bob Sawyer, after a minor glitch with a dead battery at the ramp (becoming a club tourny tradition with us) we headed out in the fog, went a little east of Wilson and set up in 150 fow and trolled out. No picture on the graph but we had a decent day in 300-350 fow and went 8/8 with 6 kings, 1 coho and 1 steelhead. Bob Collins ended up taking the tourney winning fish at 20.22 lbs officially just before 8:30 on a black and purple NK 28 50' down on the rigger, tight to the ball (~8-10' lead). We took 5 fish (4 kings and the steelhead) off that 50' rigger 3 on the black and purple NK28 and 2 on a watermellon NK28. 1 king came on a green thunder NK on the 10 color lead core, the coho came on a silver glow LJ dodger/LBB howie on the wire diver 80' on a 1 1/2 setting and the last king came on a white glow pro-chip/LBB off a power pro diver 120' back also on a 1 1/2 setting. And then a real nice time at the picnic afterwards. Here's a pic of Bob's winning fish. Tim
Guest fishstick
Thanx for the pic Tim. That sure is a nice fishy there. Sorry I didn't make it out to the LOTSA meeting. A few of us here should make an effort to come down and cast a few lines with you this summer. Or visa versa..... Lemme know.
