The_Husky_Jerk
Ive fished there a few times. Mostly mid-summer. I had most success for Pike in 8-10FOW along the tall weedbeds. Burning a spinnerbait or a larger rattlin rapala worked well. Always have a good leader for those toothy bastards lol
multispecies1
We have caught alot of pike fishing almost the exact same pattern Husky Jerk mentioned but in fall, usually late September through October in 8-12 FOW. Fishing weed edges and the main boat channel all the way out past EC-10. The boat channels are marked with green and red bouys, deeper water compared to constant 3-4 depth across most of the inner bay. Guys are getting some monsters trolling the deeper waters off of Bluffs bar, which is usually a hot spot for jigging and trolling big pike through month of April. Alot more muskies are now being caught in the inner bay as well. Last October, some guys caught a 45 incher I believe trolling the channels........ Hope this helps..
