Dogman
I'm trying to get ready for pike season since it will be the first open season for me to try out my new fly setup. Does anyone have a source for braided nylon coated stainless steel "bite" leader in bulk preferred. Thanks, Rob

Gnfshn
I have used fireline with good results as a pike leader.
D McV
Found something that might work! Was @ walmart in ny and in the craft jewelery section they have braided wire. I baught a 3 meter spool of .3 mm braided 7 strand wire for $2.50,it's not coated but should be fine. I'll let you know this weekend.
sooner
flourocarbon leader line is expensive but works great....we use it up north all the time and are yet to get snipped off.
D McV
Ya I do the same for pike up north instead of using wire,I figure I'm gonna try this just out of curiosity .
CLofchik
Dollar Store, just snip the crappy swivels off. But otherwise, yeah go with 20lb+ flouro leader.
