tinycarper Posted July 27, 2012 Report Share Posted July 27, 2012 I'm going down there with a buddy next Saturday, was wondering if anyone can tell me how the water is, depth and so on. We are planning on being down there at break of dawn and fishing till around break of dawn Sunday morning. Any info would be appreciated, a I've never been there and he has only gone there for trout and salmon seasons but we've heard carping is fun there. snakeman4 Posted July 28, 2012 Report Share Posted July 28, 2012 my only tip is get there before the water level rises, and chum the heck out of the rocks ur standing on, that way when the water rises, thats where u toss ur bait. toss it too far out there and it will be in the weeds. iv had good success 10 ft out from shore after the water comes up and using corn.
