I was thinking Byng Island. Would the Niagara River be a better bet? Just have a whole day to myself, no work, no worries and want to make the most of it. bigdog Posted August 15, 2012 Report Share Posted August 15, 2012 Niagara River is always a better bet. More fish, bigger fish, clearer water. Great fishing from shore down by the Erie Train bridge or the lower in the Whirlpool. You never mentioned what you're were targetting or if you are in a boat...but I would still hit the Niagara River. And for all those who are gonna say "The Grand has great fishing!", I am not saying it doesn't.
