The_Husky_Jerk
The owner of my company (older man) found these in his basement, and gave them to me. I am newer to fly fishing so some help from the experienced guys would be appreciated! What types of flies are these? What are they used to target? Thanks! cplummer
They are pretty rough. From my iPod I see Mickey Finn. Coachman (wet flies). Adams dry fly I'll see the rest when I get home
jessek
Yeah mostly wet flies. Look like the kind that you find at Canadian tire for cheap. You can catch anything with them. Trout bass panfish
ron4blues
The group of 4 on the left consist of a Leadwing Coachman (so named because of the grey rather than white wing), and three variants of the Parmachene Belle (red and white wings). All excellent wet patterns for trout, but will work well for other species as well. The others are rough and without a better close up are difficult to ID, but one appears to be a wet version of a hendrickson pattern, another might be a bivisible. The other two will need a closer look.
