Dan Andrews
I remember my first deer. Real small but it was the best eating and it was experience under the belt. You won't shake so much for the next one

Bones
Congrats . I'm sure a lot of work went into that. Great memory and even better eating... enjoy
coyotehunter
I still get nervous whenever I line up a shot with the bow on deer or bear. If you don't get excited soomething is missing for me. My first deer was a small forkhorn buck many years ago but I remember it clear as day. Every deer since is a trophy to be proud of..... all the work that goes into scouting, practice, stand selection, the shot that results in a clean humane kill, and especially the great eating. An important part the hunt for me is the butchering and packaging with the anticipation of many fine meals for the family in the future. Congrats on your deer. bouy-o-bouy
like i always say. A small doe is harder to hit so you have to be a great shot. may be time to ditch the cheater x bow. haha
