DaveC
Im wondering if anyone has experience doing US taxes. My wife is a US citizen, Canadian resident. US citizens must file annually thier world wide income. Im looking for someone who is experienced and affordable to do her US taxes every year. Anyone here? or know of someone who is reasonable in price? Thanks !!

Botchegalupe
H&R Block will do it for $350 which is really expensive, CA's that work for themselves will probably do it for less. The main advantage of using a CA is that you rarely get audited.
DaveC
Yeh checked with h&r....thats nutz for a simple return. Could understand if she had a complex return. Actually have 2 years to do. 2011 and 2012. 700.00 no way....you know what fishing gear i could get for that...lol

staffman
I used a CA from Windsor who was recommended by another CA and when I got the bill it was 1582 dollars and that was for two very basic returns. I learned my lesson and will always ask for an estimate before hiring the services of a CA.
