Bones Posted May 10, 2013 Report Share Posted May 10, 2013 After hunting for the first week and a half straight I finally took a jake Tuesday. Very very cautious bird who wouldn't commit to coming in. It took quite awhile for this guy to move in but when he did he was down. Not a big bird only 15+ pounds but he'll be great in the deep fryer. Took the bird with an old 12 ga CIL single, a real turkey slayer out to 35 yards. Opening day on the walk in saw a woodcock flush and only go a short distance. It started the broken wing thing so I looked where it came from and found these eggs.
