Went to the lower for minnows and fished for silvers for half an hour today and got six. it's been 20 years since I fished for them last. They put up a good fight and then give up. lol

Pretty fish... I enjoy catching them; they do a big run in the Lower Grand every late Spring and I always can't wait. To my knowledge, although some are being caught, It has not occurred in full force yet, and your picture has got me pumped!

Nice, ok who knows what kind of snake that is? I know its a water snake of some sort but with those rings?

After a google search the snake appears to be a Northern Water snake.

how big is that silver can get a proportion from the pic it looks like a great size nd where u catching them

The fish is 14"-15". I was at Queenston

When I was a kid we mostly used small yellow spinners, some times minnows. Started in Niagara on the Lake and within a week we would be riding are bikes to the power plant outlets in Queenston after them. They are great fun.
