frog088
Hey all....thinking of dropping the boat in at queenston tomorrow noonish, I don't typically fish the niagara at this time of year. Can anyone give some input about what's biting in the river right now? Typically fish the queenston drift and the pipeline, don't really know the river well other than that. One of my fishing buddies is "geographically challenged" so to speak, as it pertains to fishing US waters so Canadian drifts only. Can anyone help a brother out? Thanks for any input. bigdog
Everything is biting...just depends on how and where you are fishing. Drift tubes for bass and cast spinnerbaits. The lower is a mixed bag fishery and you should find something, especially if you're using live bait. Perch are always around, you just have to find them. Start a drift just off the Queenston launch, if you get fish, go back and do it again. Start shallow in 6' casting baits then work out to deeper water and drag tubes and shots. Good luck.
