I'm guessing the Niagara is chocolaty as much from wind as from rain. The Jordan creek on Saturday was hardly stained at all in spite of the rain we've had.

Sounds like lots of guys are getting skunked! Been a sucky season so far.

Was on Erie today and it's filthy. You could see huge rollers crashing out on the lake. I'm betting Buffalo (the mouth of the river) it taking a bashing!

:worthy: Hey guys,

Good to see you again Rob, and good to meet you too Brian....It's always nice to be able to put a face to the names on the board. Can't wait to try out your streamers in better conditions Rob!!! The river can be a female dog when she wants to be, I mean she didn't let us see more than a feww inches on Sunday. Let me know about the conditions if she's cleared up, this weekend i am off so I might drop the wife off at the casino for a few hours and throw a few casts!!! An expensive fishing day for me for sure, but at least I can go that way....LOL!!!!!

Take care all, see you out there!!!!

Fullofgas - did they drop the water level in 12 mile creek? You said there was little/no current.

I'm trying to figure out when they drop the water levels (other than for rowing events) because I'd like to try fishing for smallies up by Glendale and Westchester, by the pedestrian overpass over the 403 where the river makes a 90 degree turn west. Looks like prime smallie water, but you can't fish it when the water is high.

By the way, I'm going to try PortD on the east side of the pier tomorrow morning, around 6:30 am. Anyone else going to be there?
