dr_feelgood
Picked up the canoe from rickyy33 yesterday and the fun began this morning. A few quick measurements and a cut line was picked. The sawzall made quick work of the old girl. Now for the fun part, getting the seat out without breaking it. Success .Made myself a base out of some old 1 by pine and fitted the seat in as a shelf. Started removing the stern seat to use as an upper shelf, but the old body said it was time to stop for the day. I really hate it when my body says no more. A little sanding on the outer hull, a couple of new outer gunnels, upper shelf and a coat of paint to follow. Then she will be up for sale.
