ChefMick
Taking the kids to the Brantford zoo, also bringing the rods, anyone have good fishing out that way? Not looking for secrets, I've just never fished the upper before.
DaveC
Its running pretty high Mick, but starting to drop quick. I am going to check out Galt this morning here in about 20 mins, just looking for a place to cast more so than fish. Running pretty stained as well. bigdog
I like the Wilkes dam in Brantford. Lots of little smallies, carp, suckers. Cast to the middle, drift some small soft plastics, tubes or grubs on light weight or weightless 3" senkos. There is also the hydro gates that are good for smallies and largies. Fish in between the weeds and the walls where the water goes in. Also, any of the logs or weed patches hold fish. There is also a lower pond, never had luck there, but I have seen cruising largies all around the area. Good Luck!
