Went out for the day with Paul's fishhuts. We knew that it had been slow fishing in the area for the previous days but we had to get out. Managed about 60 fish between three of us. All on minnows despite trying upwards of a dozen different artificial baits. Here's a couple of videos recorded with the Vexilar FP100 Fishphone, which is really cool to use as we could all use our phone/tablets to view the camera whenever we wanted. The fish came in heavy for about 5 minutes at a time about once an hour but you can see they weren't feeding too hard and the bites were very tentative.

Ya we knew based on the reports in the interwebs that everything was slow for the days before but we had booked the hut more than a week before and we were all itching to get out. It was actually better than I expected and having the electronics with us was great... I left my x67 at home because one of the other guys was bringing a vex and boy did that thing light up when the schools of Sisco came through. We actually pulled our lines when they were coming through even though we would love to catch some. Caught a few Sisco last year and they dart around as good as any little snot rocket pike but with three of us in the hut we were concerned with tangling lines so whenever the Sisco came in we pulled our lines to avoid catching them and suffering entanglement.
