corey Posted January 17, 2014 Report Share Posted January 17, 2014 Headed up to Lefroy for a day of fishing with Lucky's Sons ice huts. Was a good roomy ice hut for a couple of guys, long enough benches for a quick nap or two through the day. Fishing was slow. Schools of perch came through every 20-30 minutes or so. The bite was tough. Was watching them on the camera and most were uninterested in the offerings. Almost all the perch were caught on minnows but I did get video of a perch taking a Swedish Pimple, a Slab Grabber and some Rapala Jigging Raps.We were in 30 feet of water but thanks to some sunlight and almost clear ice we had enough light to run colour on the camera for the day. The videos are a bit nicer than my first videos taken. Used a Samsung Tab3 tablet for recording all the videos that day. The camera seems to split the video into a new file every 3 minutes for a series of 90MB videos. I have over 30 files to watch through but here's three interesting ones.
