getroutofhere
Seen on the news... Sad. I hate to say it but this is what happens when people go out on the lake and fly around at 80-100 km/hr no seatbelts, intoxicated etc (not saying they were drunk just and example). At least the snowmobile/ATV guys (and gals) have "off road" exp and realize the dangers of the ice. (Most) Either way a tragic end to a life that didn't need to be. Yet another reminder to respect mother nature as she can take away as much as she gives. Be safe
miller
Easy to understand how it can happen, took my vehicle out there a week ago and kept it at a slow pace not only for the fact if pressure cracks but old ruts from sleds and other vehicles. It was a bumpy ride and likely my first and last time driving my vehicle out.
dewey
I've parked on the ice in pefferlaw and its an uneasy feeling when you leave your truck parked on the ice hoping its not underwater when you come back. I don't think i could take my truck out to the fishing grounds. ill stick with a wheeler.
