PRO - P1KE 101 Posted May 25, 2014 Report Share Posted May 25, 2014 Was at the wellend river saturday morning at around 5 am. Fished for cats , managed to land 3 nice ones all around 7 pounds. Also had a carp on but popped the hook by the shore. Lots of small takes. Later on we landed one more channel, when the sun got out and became very hot, so we left.Water was mud and there was some wood drifting around. The ground was also pure mud.. very slippery.Overall a great day, probibaly should have went in the evening, but some morning fish are always great.
