fishfight
I was just wondering if the yearly floating Algae had arrived yet, or delayed due to water getting warmer later this year. Smelt came and had gone so fast as I have notice, though. I do not normally fish them, The river water also getting warmer so fast only within the last two weeks alone. All normal trends seemed to be delayed.
bucketmouthjohnny
algae was growing on bottom last weekend, wasn't floating yet but you did need to clean your bottom baits from time to time .

archman
This was my first time fishing the lower this time of year. But I did have to clean every couple casts on my drop shot. It wasn't quite as bad on cranks. Definitely more than the fall when I normally go.
