Years back my cousin and I went out of Brent in Algonquin.Portaged for 7 days.Caught enough fish. Its off Hwy 17.Bit of a hike but well worth it.I think they have a campground also.Search it and good luck

Called it an early trip weather was crap. Managed to get a couple healthy smallies and a huge perch on wake baits. Couldn't believe the perch. Lol portage up to Myra lake from openago for brookies and got squat. Word around the park was slow fishing and high winds

Thanks all that helped
