Unless the child is a non resident then the catch and possession limit is part of the catch and possession limit of the person of resident.Keep in mindthat anyone who is so much as baiting or assisting the underaged child must hold a valid fishing license. So mom and dad could be un licensed so long as they are not assisting in any way. Otherwise the child is deemed to have a sportfishing license with same catch and possession limits.
