FishingTheSuburbs
Usually this time of year i am chasing big shad filled largemouth at Beaverdams/gibson but having been chasing kings since the beginning of September! Has anyone been seeing the schools of shad or fishing busting on them?
krisbass13
I was at beaverdams last weekend during a storm. The bass were feeding on small shad/shiners on a wind blown bank, first time I caught more than 3 in a long time there! A square bill got most of the bites, spro fat papa 60 with a little bit of chartreuse did really well for the water clarity. Also had a good 3lb+ hit the jerkbait and caught 2 pike. Pm if you want to go pond hopping pretty sure we got to the same school.
