spinnerbaitking Posted January 9, 2016 Report Share Posted January 9, 2016 Started of in Kincardine at one of our school's then to the Trout hatchery to check on the Browns & Rainbows, next stop Walkerton, Formosa, Brookside & Goderich school's everything is looking good & they are all growing nicely. Are they penned later in the river or do they go to bigger tanks before the final release. Do you have the schools involved in thier final release to the wild. Great work and even better educatingv!! spinnerbaitking Posted January 10, 2016 Author Report Share Posted January 10, 2016 They stay in the class until late April or early May & most of the school's do a bus trip to Kincardine where each of the Students get to release 1 or more Salmon into the river than they split up into 2 groups & half goes for a Light House Tour while the other half tour the Brown & Rainbow Trout hatchery then they switch, a couple classes have been luck enough to release them the week of the Fish Kincardine Derby & have been involved with the weigh station & were part of a Rogers TV broadcast too.
