Guest bluenose
Hi: As I'm new to this board (which is great for local info. ), I don't know if this topic has been dealt with before, so if this is an old thread, I apologize. I have started spin fishing to fill the gap during the off season when I can't fly fish for trout. I am using a 10 1/2 ft. rod but would like to go to a shorter one. Any recommendations on lengths in the 7 to 8 ft. range? Any input would be appreciated. Regards

Guest bigfishbass
I was there tonight (portd)...LOTS of fish jumping....but it's like winning the lottery tonight.... there are so many feeder fish, that it was just luck tonight. Saw a few people on both east and west sides but nothing to speak off. Talked to a few people at Grimsby Tackle and Pete's tackle and they said that it would only get better from here. Tonight I used glow spoons and roe.....not a thing to speak of just LOUD kids everywhere....will try again maybe tommorow.
