Action
Do they start diverting water around this time or am I mistaken? When the water level changes is Devil's hole tricky to boat to cause of the rocks?
Guest Gill Finigan
water drops every night year round, just during the winter it never comes back as high as summer. Starts to rise around 9am i think.

Guest Steelheader
I was down at the whirlpool for the first time this October. From 7am to 9am the water rose about 4-5 feet. I think it can start rising as early as 6am and be back down by 10pm.
glowbug
I was always led to believe that the river rises and falls on a daily basis, but there was also a summer and winter level. That change always coincided with the time change ( day light savings time), lower in the winter ,higher in the summer.
