fishfight
I am planning to buy another fishfinder and I normally fish no more than 30 feet of water but mostly under 15 feet. If I am given only one choice due to my budget to either buy a higher resolutin 240x240 with a 60 degree angle transducer or a lower resolution 160x160 with a 90 degree tri beam or quad beam transducer. Ebay has quite a few on sale I am using an older humminbird wide eye and only shows relsolution under 100 pixel, and a 55 degree angle transducer. Due to the low resolution , I have a hard time distinguishing between different type of weed growth, and bottom structure is not very clear. Any advice would be highly appreciated. Tom Chopin
I purchased the new lowrance lms-332c color model and I'll never go back. The differentiation near the bottom with color is awesome. More pixels is definitely better in my opinion.
