Smitty
I've been fishing a local spot for the past couple of months, and there is a rock ledge where the fish cruise up and down. This is the only place where I actually hook into fish but keep snapping my leader line on zebra mussels. Im currenly using 4-6 lb. maxima and it snaps with even the slightest touch on the mussels, what other brands would you recommend to put up with the nicks and ticks. Heres some pics of the fish ive gto int he past couple months
Guest IBC
how about using a thicker leader line? PLine is a strong line but tends to have a good memory

Guest Gill Finigan
go heavier and use florocarbon. Florocarbon is tougher against abrasion and invisable underwater.
denis
Like Gill mentioned try some fluorocarbon. The Raven invisible seems to work awesome i've been using it for quite some time and it's tough stuff to break it even works well for pike in the spring. Try the 6.8 or 8.4 you'll be very impressed
