mobyclick
Gents, Came down from Waterloo on Tuesday, 30th, the river (Queenston) was mud, 6" to 12" visibility so went to Port D. Generators/pumps still broke, no current to drift. Spoke to a gent who gave some great advice, so we went to the east side (lighthouse side) at the end of the pier. Saw about 8 or 10 browns landed, between the five of us who were fishing, left about 1:30 pm. All on spoons, with the exception of one I got on a black and white shallow running rapala with 3/4 ounce of lead about 4' of lead in-line with the lure. We had a blast, so if that generator/pump problem still persists, try the water further down, they are there!!! Any word on if the drift is fixed yet at Port D, can't wait to get back!!! Got a truck full of streamers that are screaming to get wet!!!!
