Guest wheatking Posted December 11, 2004 Report Share Posted December 11, 2004 Does anyone know of a repair shop in the Golden Horseshoe area that can take a look at an older Lowrance sonar/gps? The sonar portion works great but the GPS portion works for about 20 minutes and then says " poor fix quality 0" and stops plotting. I have checked all the connections and messed with it for hours in the driveway ( most of my nieghbours think I'm nuts for just sitting in the boat for hours on end). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am going to replace this unit in the spring but would like to keep this for a back up or if a buddy needs one. Stevek Posted December 12, 2004 Report Share Posted December 12, 2004 Lowrance Canada,s office and warranty center is in Mississauga on Matheson Blvd. If you know Miss., at all it is east of Square One shopping mall. Don't have the street # but if you do a search for Lowrance Canada you'll find it. Might be worth calling them first as I've found them very helpful, may know what the problem is over the phone and let you know if it can be fixed. Hope this helps .
