Guest mean_drunk
Has anyone in thos forum ever fished the Grand river near Elora,or the gorge in particular? Apparently there are browns, some specks and rainbow there, and the scenery is fantastic! I think certain areas are catch n release with barbless hooks only, but i can't wait to try it in the spring. dr_feelgood
I have caught quite a few browns in the park. I tossed a worm into the big set of rapids, right after the first drop off. I have also caught cats down by the low level bridge.

Guest Brian Laketrout Cuthbertson
Isn't the Grand in that area all Fly fishing, barbless, and all fish must be released?
Guest Dobbie
Different sections have different regs. Main gorge is not one of them. This may help a little. http://www.friendsofthegrandriver.com/map.htm
