jwl Posted November 23, 2006 Report Share Posted November 23, 2006 nice fish Denis...I have read a few articles and seen a few shows over the last couple years about the effectiveness of using jigging spoons for late fall bass, they prove to work really well for some lazy lunkers for sure from the info I have gotten, and I have also caught a few bass over the years while drifting/jigging spoons this time of year for trout..although I haven't really set out to target bass at this time of year..my attention is usually focused on trout, pike and maybe a crack at some musky this time of year..but there seems top be some super sized smallies caught lately for sure..was jiggin for tout yesterday and winded up with 5 smallies instead, got those on twisters, the artaicles and shows that I saw about the jigging spoons where pretty much focuses on Erie..and they where clobbering huge bass, and lots of them..I would have to say that it is a great cold water presentation for sure...your pic proves it too.
