:D Hit the lower Niagara the other day. Started off at the Backdrift didn't get anything off the bat on pink worms or yarn, so we switched to roe & popped a few but u had to work for them. Moved to the Artpark drift & the bite was better over there. Although it wasn't on fire it was pretty consistent. On top of that it was more of a big fish bite than numbers, as we (& others) pulled out some decent sized fish. Later on we decided to kill some time down at the bar fishing for Lakers. We hooked fish pretty much every drift (well I did anyways :P ). We finished the day on the Backdrift, where we saw Markus & some of his friends. We didn't get anything but Markus & the boys popped 2 on minnows.

We got our Bows on Brown roe & roe/corkies with salmon eggs tied in chartreuse netting being the most productive. On the Bar we were getting our Lakers on Pearl Storm Swim Baits & 4inch White Exude Mr. Twisters. Although I don't think it really matters what u use for Lakers as long as they can get it in their mouths they'll eat it  . Water clarity was about 3ft but that might of changed because of the winds we've had the last couple of days. Hope Markus & the guys did well on the bar yesterday & today.

P.S. It's duck hunting season in the States & guys were TRYING to blast birds at the Bar. Some hunters were actually blasting over the heads of fellow anglers. Needless to say to we tried to stay well clear of these MORONS :angry2: .
