Guest Looney Tunes
Can you transport trout caught on the American side, throught Canada to Michagan, without having a Canadian liscence. And what are the regulations.
Guest Brad_c
If this is a live fish your talking about then no, you cannot transport it from one body of water to another. if its not live then the fish must be indentifiable. But im really not sure about the license thing. you could call the MNR maybe and ask them. you have an NY licence though right?
Guest Markus
I'm pretty sure if you decide to come ashore with your fish, you better have a Canadian Licience.
Guest SkeinMachine
If the fish being transported is in fillets, leave the scales/skin on for identification.
Guest bigfish1965
I'm assuming you will be fishing in NY then cutting through to Michigan. If you keep some sort of proof of your trip inside of NY State, then you will have a reasonable claim to have caught them in NY. However, you must still have the skin attached and have them packaged for easy identification.
