RoeBaggin Posted January 27, 2007 Report Share Posted January 27, 2007 I fought all instincts to stay inside today and hit the whirlpool. Strange to see that there was no one around! My cousin and I had the whole place to ourselves. Managed to land four myself and my cousin landed three! Friggin cold though and my net was frozen stiff not to mention my fingers. All in all a great day on the water, fish seemed very active in the extreme cold. One of our better days. I will post pictures when my cousin gives me the SD card. Guest johnson Posted January 27, 2007 Report Share Posted January 27, 2007 Hey glad to hear you guys did well there.I'm not surprised you had the place to yourself, people just aren't willing to brave the cold and the hike anymore. I've found over the years that often the coldest days are the most productive. I have home video from my late teen years fishing down there in 25 below.
