Results from Thurs aft. Fishing the Gaps

Well unfortunately a cold front came in Thursday afternoon and seemed to shut down any action at the river. I'd been out earlier and decided to try my luck later that afternoon as well. Saw a whole lot of this,

and did even more of this,

It was still good to be out fishing the open water again though. Although much colder than in the morning. Fortunately the little rise of the bank kept most of the wind off of me and as long as I hunkered down in the snow I was quite warm. Heading out this morning to my ice-pike location and will post if I have any luck.
