charlieD
Can anybody tell me what they do when they clean steelhead, do you leave the skin on or off?
Guest chrome
hey! i keep one rainbow a year! my granparents eat fish 4 times a week! there from the east coast ( nova scotia ). So from my grandma too you, keep the skin on, it's a must! WHY you ask, because it keeps the fish nice and moist for when you eat it, keeps it from drying out. cory

Guest Brian Laketrout Cuthbertson
fileting it... I would just cut it in 2 pieces and wrap it in tin foil with butter and lemon and bake it in the oven!

Guest chilli
I agree. Gut it, stuff it and either put er on the bar b or in the hoven. The wife might not eat it, if it looks at her the wrong way at the table.

Don't tell anyone how much fun it is or soon we'll have to fight for a shore spot on niagara. Looks like I'm going ice fishing this weekend - we'll get some mud coming down from ol' buffalo.
