fishfight Posted March 9, 2007 Report Share Posted March 9, 2007 After 4 years of cranking and losing lures at the Whirlpool, Glen, Queenston and Port D, my fishing buddy finally landed two fish in two consecutive weeks. He was at Cloud Nine. Is he being persistent or what? The weather was cold and windy the whole time. Fish from 8-1:30pm at port D Fish was caught close to the boat launch using white Grub. I got skunk. My mind was somewhere else today. 3 more fish were caught by other anglers, there were only 6 anglers that I noticed before we left. Couple of fish were caught almost right after each other when there was a half-an-hour warm front from 12:45- 1:15pm.
