geotech Posted April 28, 2007 Report Share Posted April 28, 2007 I heard a storey a while back that a guy test drove a new boat, Loved it! and bought it the same day. Came back when it was ready for pick up, launched with his family in the boat drove around a bit a came back to the marina irrate, yelling at the owner that the boat was no good, he couldn't get it up on plane. The owner was confused as it had lots of power and should have no problem getting on plane with people in the boat. When he went a looked over the boat he realized, the problem right away. and explained to the boat owner that you need to unhook the boat from the trailer, not the trailer from the truck.
