Snags
https://www.stcatharines.ca/en/governin/sunset-beach-vision.asp Looks like the city is thinking about fixing up the ramp and revitalizing the area. However a few of the plans involve paid parking. Take a gander through the link and the documents and email your representatives to voice your opinion if this might be something that will affect you. NINO
Bad ramp for launching a boat, great for my jet skiis. I've seen some ppl come in hard to smack the concrete walkway. Its not deep either so you have to watch. If the winds are bad forget it. They'll probably charge everyone for parking weather on the water or on the beach. Lund-SS
I've seen a couple boats sink at that ramp taking waves over the transom . If the wind comes north or west your beat there

Double_Dk
Great idea! Another access point isn't a bad thing at all. Hopefully they can figure out a way to protect it to allow access regardless of wind. I am friends with a city councilor, I will big that up with him.
