Water is never too low for the salmon and trout to try. MNR could nab someone there nightly probably.

finally goin for salmon tomorrow!!!! r they up by the falls yet??? i stand on the green bridge and fire it towards the falls any suggenstions??

That fine would not even be MNR specific ... NRP can enforce same with fishing too close to the dam. If you have to jump a barrier or fence ... trespassing.

would there be salmon/trout in frenchmans and black creek yet? or are they at the mouth of the creeks? tips?

I would doubt it but you never know ... i got a creek by my place that goes into the lake ... no more than 6 inches deep at spots but you find an assortment of rainbows and browns in it come fall and spring.

Ya. As soon as they get into the piers they are making a run for the falls. I have seen salmon far upstream on some areas in late august ... not many as it is too soon (and it was during a hot august).

Spinners arent too good for salmon ... but anywhere there is water will have salmon in port dalhousie right now, they are running. Seen them from the end of the pier to the hydro property and falls.
