      I lost two android phones by getting them wet. The bag of rice did not as the metals corrode rapidly. Blackberry? I put mine through the wash and worked fine after about 4 days and kept going until my first android.

      yeah mine was a galaxy s2.... normally fresh water doesnt corrode to bad but I guess it got me.

      That was my first android. LCD screens and water a no-no. The guy at the cell shop took it apart in front of me showed me the blue. Easy for water to get in, but not out. Lesson? Plastic baggie. :D
