Hey Fish Farmer that is exactly where I live. Just started trolling west of grants at the next point closr to shore and trolled straight out staying in 25ft 30ft of water. Was out again today, marked lots of fish suspended but just washed the lures. Thanks for the tip on the leadcore, I don't need anymore headaches then I have now getting lines out. See you out there green lund tiller.

No the yaleye hooligans will go down 30 ft on its own and I also used a yaleye mooneye minnow with a snap on weight after letting out 30 ft. I am new to eye fishing so I've been experimenting with different set ups. Would like to try leadcore one day. The mooneye off the planner board worked good. Fishing with my dad and he's old school and doesn't enjoy all the setups with the dipsydivers and all, hard on the wrist at times.

Not a bad for a few hours out today. Not a bite for about 1 hour and told my father let's call it quits and then bam we got a double header. Stayed for about another hour and a half and ended up with 5.

I live just west of maitland on grants point. I'm on holidays all week and hope to get out as much as I can. Haven't seen any boats out regularly yet. Hopefully we get into some soon. Last week was a bust.

Yes the parking lot where I launch hasn't had many trucks with trailers.
Lets hope it picks up. My next trip will be Tecumseh shoal

Went out yesterday morning only for an hour and a half and caught three in 70 fow with worm harness set around 45 fow

I think thats where Gilfisher fishes, a little west of the fingers and south. 3 fish in a hour & half is good fishin👍
