smerchly
The problem with fishing in cold weather is the eyes on the pole freezing up and damaging the line. I've heard using pam spray, or even WD40 will help stop this......does anyone have any methods they use to stop this? I used the spiderwire fusion once and the ice tore it to rat$hit ! rick
The first thing I thought about while leaving work this morning around 4 and walking to my car was 'I'm sure glad I didn't have any plans to go fishing today.' It was freakin cold!! They hit on pink worms. Gotta love the pink worms, those and streamers are my favorite baits this time of year!
GREYHAWK
As far as braided line is concerned during cold weather - I have found that TUF LINE is the only braided that stands up to the cold. Have had little or no problem with during the coldest periods. Fireline and the others tend to freeze and cause multiple problems. Pam spray and some of the new sprays for decreased line memory seem to work well during icy conditions! Have fun!
