smerchly
I was saddened to see on TV 41 a news release a few minutes ago , that about 100 loons and other birds were found dead ....not sure where on the Lakes, but I presume some form of toxins killed them ....a real tragedy for such a great bird . Guest Rockfish
Not good news Bill, would be better to hear about 100 dead Cormorants, too bad about the pollution though.

Was in the Standard today.....said it was toxic ingestation from mussels & fish .....prob. eating gobies . They should have a better answer if they open up the loons to see what they have been feeding on !
Dan Andrews
Doesn't this happen every year when the Lake turns over? Joe Monty's last article said Lake O just turned over. Maybe there's a connection.
