Guest Eyelike2fish
Does anyone know if there is open water in the Hamilton area to fish for bows? I can remember a long long time ago I went to a place there to fish for bows but I can't remember where it was. I am sure there must be some areas like we have at Port D or something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...Steve
Guest FIN "S" FISHER
YOU COULD ALWAYS FISH THE HIGH LEVEL BRIDGE ,IT USED TO BE OPEN ALL YEAR (THE WATER THAT IS). OR TRY THE BURLINGTON CANAL BUT THE ONLY THING WITH THAT PLACE IS ONE DAY YOU COULD GET 6 OR SO AND THE NEXT 5 TRIPS NOTHING NOT EVEN A HIT. salmonman
Yeah everything around there is locked up pretty tight at the moment. I was out on the harbour doing some ice fishing today and i can attest to it being frozen. tightlines salmonman

Guest Buddy
How did you make out on the harbour salmonman? Ice thickness? any bites? Hopefully will get out there this weekend.
salmonman
The ice was about 6 to 8 inches on tuesday, now since then i am sure that it has softened up quite a bit. Probably would not be too safe to venture out onto. I did not get anything either, it was a very slow week down there. tightlines salmonman
