Tom Chopin
The Niagara Bassmasters enjoyed opening day on Lake Eugenia. Mother nature was completey wrong and the weather turned out great and the fishing was great also. Most teams reported good numbers of 1.5-2.5lb fish. Dan and I boater over 40 fish for the day. Spinnerbaits were hot early in the morning fished across the tops of weeds in 5-8 feet of water while it was rainy and overcast. As the rain stopped and the day lightened up we had to hunker down and do lots of pitching and flipping in the deep weeds. Congrats to Linz for pulling out the win with 11.97lbs for 4 fish and big fish with a 3.96lb bruiser. Keep an eye out for info on the Niagara Bassmasters Guys and Gals Open on July 19th. Linz Marco - Dan 3.21lbs for the big one Tom 3.55lbs
