Dan Pozzobon Posted October 19, 2004 Report Share Posted October 19, 2004 On Sunday October 17, 2004 the Niagara Bassmasters hosted their annual Help a Child Smile Charity Tournament! As you can see, there were numerous prizes to be had, a big thanks to the many sponsors. The local bass anglers raised $3715 to the charity which grants wishes to terminally ill children. Mike Slovak presents Ivan Plamondon (Help a Child Smile Representative) with the big cheque. 20 teams participated in this event representing Niagara & St. Catharines Bassmasters, New York state and local Niagara anglers. The winning team of Aaron Barber and Ron Arnold win the event with a 5 fish limit of 12.68 lbs of Welland River largemouth. Aaron and Ron also won big fish with a 3.66 lb largemouth bass. A very special thanks goes to Mike Slovak for organizing another successful event. Gary Towne and Gino Tavano also came out to support the event. See you next year!
