packrat Posted March 9, 2009 Report Share Posted March 9, 2009 What am I saying!!!!!!!!!! Wandered off to Caledonia Friday afternoon for a looksee--------oh boy oh boy. River running a "little" high but vis was prime. There were even a couple people trying their luck with minnies for whatever came along----nada caught while I was there. Thought about slipping down during the week and give her a go. Along comes Saturdays rain------------uh put that thought on hold cuz took a peek this morning and she's toast. Forecast for rest of week isnt going to do things much good either. Even the "one" trib open all year in places is going to be a writeoff. Just might be forced to resort to plan B. I have be putting all the ice gear away , I think it's over ...... Polish up the big sticks & oil up the reels & re-spool the lines up !
