Hacknslash
Was a nice morning to be out. Looked ominous but the weather held. Bite was on. Got really breezy in the afternoon...large swells and difficult fishing. We got on the water about 11...took a break from 2-3 then fished till the rain came in. Kept 3 under 10 inches (deeply hooked and would not survive) and total count was 91 perch. Also caught countless rock bass and kept some of the larger ones for the frying pan. Lots of 12" + perch (about 30 of our catch) and alot over 13" Here is a pic of the rockies we kept ( remember someone asking about the rock bas in the lake) Gonna have a good feed tomorrow!!! Hacknslash
Yes I find the rockies eat well this time of the year. Once the water warms a bit they seem to get a little mushy and dont taste as good.
